Warehouse/Driver Technician

CEAVCO Audio Visual is hiring for an entry level Warehouse/Driver Technician with a passion for accuracy and audio visual equipment to participate in our warehouse operations and activities.  You will store audio visual equipment materials, pick, pack and scan orders, deliver equipment and set-up equipment as scheduled.  The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and client satisfaction.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  To safely pull materials, accurately prepare orders, load audio visual equipment into trucks, deliver audio visual equipment to specified site, set-up, operate, unload, organize the warehouse and receive equipment orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT:  This person must possess excellent customer service skills, have a professional demeanor, and demonstrate basic knowledge in audiovisual equipment its setup and operation.  Must have a safe driving record.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  This person must be able to do the following:  to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memo; to write simple correspondence; to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Must be able to solve problems with many variables in a calm manner.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  Clean Driving Record, Class B Driver’s License preferred, but not required at time of hire.  Will be required to obtain Class B drivers license.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
